JUNIOR SUMMER CAMPS
Our junior camps are designed to provide players with an opportunity to experience a fun learning environment while improving their tennis skills. Our camps are for those players at the beginner level or with limited experience. Led by the Kamloops Tennis Centre coaches, our camps provide a safe place where juniors can develop tennis, social, and physical skills through drills, games and point play. Our camps run from 8:30am to 12:00pm and are for juniors 7 years of age and up.
We offer two camps per month with Pacific Sport, please contact them directly if you wish to register.
If you wish to register for a camp at the centre please call 250 372 1783 or email ktccoach@gmail.com

CAMP INFORMATION
PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL
The drop off time for camps is between 8:15 - 8:30am and the pick up time is between 12:00 - 12:15pm. Juniors may wait inside the air-conditioned clubhouse until their ride arrives if needed,
CELL PHONES AND ELECTRONIC DEVICES
Our summer camps are all about being active, we ask that juniors leave cell phones in the clubhouse for the duration of the camp. We want everyone to enjoy the activities and to make friends. If a cell phone or electronic device is deemed necessary by a parent or guardian, we ask that you please inform our coaches. Otherwise, we encourage a device-free experience for our juniors.
PERSONAL PROPERTY
We take pride in creating a safe environment, but despite our best efforts, there is always the possibility for items to occasionally be misplaced or forgotten. Juniors are encouraged to take responsibility for keeping track of their own belongings. The Kamloops Tennis Centre is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal property. We strongly recommend that valuable items be left at home.
WHAT TO BRING TO CAMP
We recommend that juniors come with sunscreen, drinks, snacks, tennis shoes or court shoes (running shoes are acceptable,) and an extra shirt (for those hot days.) We can provide racquets if needed.
SUN PROTECTION
Due to the high temperatures that come with the summer months we encourage juniors to wear a hat, loose fitting clothing, and to use sunscreen. We do provide short breaks to apply more sunscreen and for rehydration.
NUT POLICY AND ALLERGIES
We strive to maintain a nut-free camp and ask that you refrain from sending peanut or nut products. If your junior has an allergy, please speak to one of the coaches.
MEDICAL
If your junior as any medical or allergy concerns our coaches and staff need to know about, please be sure to let us know.
AGGRESSIVE AND ABUSIVE BEHAVIOUR
We are committed to providing a caring, friendly, and safe environment for all participants. Bullying and hostile behavior of any kind is not tolerated. Aggressive and abusive behavior or comments towards coaches, staff, volunteers, and other juniors will not be tolerated. Anyone exhibiting this behavior will be warned that it is not tolerated.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
There are no refunds due to inclement weather as our programs will continue in a modified format until inclement weather subsides.
